Philadelphia, PA: Imhotep students in the S.T.E.M. Class of S.T.E.M. Director Shirley Posey will Take Flight Against Gun Violence in a Drone Competition that will bring awareness while applying Technology to ending the surge in Gun Violence in the City of Philadelphia. On Thursday, April 7, 2022 students throughout the day will be flying drones and simulating a response to citizens reporting an active shooting scene. The student teams will be evaluated on their time of response based on receiving the call and the time it takes to deploy the drone and take the picture to capture the scene.
