Umoja Karamu (oo-MOH-jah kah-RAH-moo) is a celebration of unity within the African-American family, community, and nation. Umoja Karamu is a Swahili term meaning "unity feast."

Before we go on a brief break for Umoja Karamu (Unity Feast), we will be hosting our virtual Umoja Karamu celebration on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 8:30 am. Students who would like to have a check-in with our counselor, Brother Tahar or behavior specialist, Sister Mimi, can connect with either of them tomorrow, November 23, 2021 between the hours of 9am until 11am. To record student attendance, a Google form will be made available during the program and in both Brother Tahar's and Sister Mimi's Zoom Room. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach out to our Family Support Line from 8:30 am until 11:00 am as our office will be closed. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 8:30 am
